Our dog, Mochi (mo-chee) = awesome.
The adoption website she was featured on happened to have a video of her. The video was an all of 12 seconds but that’s all it took for her to steal my heart. The camera starts rolling and there’s Mochi in all her fuzzy, pudgy, 3 month old puppy glory. She is on a mission, busily pawing under a dresser trying to get a toy out from underneath. Suddenly, she turns and notices the person behind the camera. She instantly drops her mission and comes bounding over (trampling the camera in the process) to cover the person in puppy kisses!
Four years later, she is now:
Bigger: We were told she was a chihuahua mix and she would grow to less than 15 lbs . . . she now weighs almost 40 lbs! Just more to love =)
Smarter: Doggie puzzles are no match for her, and she understands an awful lot of the English language.
Faster: She loves to run. She has stopped a soccer game midmatch because the players were having too much fun watching her do laps around the field, greyhound-style, at
super turbo speed.
However, she is just as lovable, sweet and silly as she was in that first video. She has too much personality for us to keep to ourselves, so we decided to start a video series entitled “A Minute with Mochi” to share with you. We are in the process of editing the first episode, so in the meantime here’s a little introduction of our star.
Without further ado . . .here’s MOCHI!
Psst . . .Mochi, you’re on!
Mochi: “But moooom, it’s Monday!”
She makes a good point. It’s been a rather gloomy Monday at that, so I think a cup of tea for me and a biscuit for Mochi is in order!
